ABSTRACT:

Traditional currencies have long relied on gold and other scarce metals to establish value.
Instead, value can be derived from unique physical structures—such as wood grains, Damascus steel patterns, Timascus, stone or other naturally or artificially random textures. Each token is paired with a verifiable image of its unique structure, stored on a blockchain to prevent duplication and ensure authenticity.
This approach combines physical uniqueness with cryptographic security, enabling a decentralized, tamper-proof system of currency. By leveraging abundant and renewable materials, Woodcoin provides a modern framework for alternative currencies that preserves scarcity, prevents counterfeiting, and opens new possibilities for secure, verifiable money.
