ABSTRACT:

The transition of academic disciplines to online learning modules has transformed traditional education, offering both benefits and challenges. This paper evaluated the advantages and drawbacks of shifting various disciplines to digital platforms, considering factors such as accessibility, flexibility, engagement, and effectiveness. While online learning enhances accessibility and allows for self-paced education, it also presents challenges such as reduced hands-on experience, technological barriers, and diminished student-teacher interaction. The study explored the challenges and suggestions for future recommendations. This quantitative study aims to explore the challenges of teachers and learners in a completely online mode of education Certain disciplines, particularly those requiring practical application and laboratory work, face greater difficulties in adaptation. The research highlights the importance of developing innovative digital pedagogies and hybrid learning models to mitigate these challenges. The findings suggest that while online education can complement traditional teaching, a discipline-specific approach is essential to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
