Teaching Research and Countermeasures of Children’s Drama Education in Public Aesthetic Education Courses of Museums

ABSTRACT:
Drama and education are the result of the integration of different fields. It not only showcases the artistic charm of stage drama but also exerts its aesthetic education function. General Secretary Xi Jinping said, “A museum is like a great university… Let history speak and let cultural relics come to life, giving contemporary people national confidence and historical inspiration.” Since the Ministry of Education began to promote research-based learning education, children’s drama has gradually entered museums and art galleries and holds special value for the cultivation of children. Drama is not confined by walls and is not limited to the theater. Museums carry out children’s educational drama activities. Through performances and drama activities, storytelling can, to a certain extent, stimulate children’s interest in the life experiences of predecessors and cultivate their empathy. At the same time, it can also serve as a supplement to exhibitions, helping children better understand the exhibits. The educational theater provides children with positive learning experiences and is an innovative method for the public to participate in the dissemination of information.
