ABSTRACT:
This study aimed to analyze trends in the domestic research articles related to the ECEC teacher-child interaction from 2004 to 2024 using a semantic network analysis. The keywords of a total of 709 articles in the society and humanity fields were identified from the Korean Citation Index site. The data were analyzed using frequency, word cloud, degree centrality, TF-IDF, N-gram for density, and CONCOR using TEXTOM 5.0. They were visualized using UCINET 6.0. The findings of this study are as follows. The most frequent appearing keywords were ‘teacher-child interaction’, ‘young child’, ‘teacher’ and ‘teacher efficacy’. For the degree centrality were ‘teacher-child interaction’, ‘young child’, ‘teacher’, ‘teacher efficacy’ and ‘peer interaction’ were ranked high. Regarding N-gram, which concerns the simultaneous appearance and the density, ‘teacher → teacher efficacy’, ‘teacher efficacy → teacher-child interaction’, ‘young child → interaction’ were ranked high. The CONCOR results showed that there were four different groups according to the high related keywords.
