ABSTRACT:

The Solo-Founder AI-Driven Nonprofit Mode (SFADNM) presents an innovative framework for nonprofit management, leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to overcome traditional financial and operational constraints. This study integrates Daoism’s Tao (道) and Buddhism’s Compassion (慈悲心) as ethical and strategic foundations for SFADNM, exploring their potential to enhance leadership, decision-making, and sustainability. Daoism’s concept of Wu Wei (无为) fosters adaptive leadership and intuitive decision-making, balancing AI automation with human oversight, while Yin-Yang (阴阳) principles guide the integration of efficiency and flexibility. Buddhism’s Metta (loving-kindness) and Karuna (compassion) provide a framework for ethical AI-driven nonprofit services, ensuring mission-aligned governance and sustainable operations. The study also critiques the Nonprofit Industrial Complex (NPIC) and examines how SFADNM, informed by spiritual and philosophical principles, can offer a transformative alternative to hierarchical and financially dependent nonprofit structures. Through a transdisciplinary approach combining transpersonal psychology, business ethics, and Eastern philosophy, this paper provides a conceptual foundation for AI-driven nonprofits that align technological innovation with ethical leadership and social responsibility.
