The Impact of Technology and Social Media on Educational Process

ABSTRACT:
The purpose of this research is to identify the impact of adopting the internet and social media platforms especially Facebook on the educational process and explaining how they can be efficiently used, due to the many benefits and services they can provide to improve the educational process based on scientific researches and statistics. In addition, explaining how does the COVID-19 pandemic effect education and makes us discover the weakness and lack of experience of handling technology and online education in some educational institutions, which eventually affect the quality of education. Finally, we have introduced some ways and techniques of using the internet and social networks features to be used in schools and universities towards the improvement of the educational process.
