ABSTRACT:

This research aims to clarify the concept of international relations in Islamic jurisprudence and law and to demonstrate the importance of international relations in Islam; Where many of the legitimate purposes serving peace depend on international relations, such as: achieving communication, fulfilling covenants, and honoring humanity. The research paper also includes an explanation of the beginning of the emergence of international relations between countries. As international relations are part of civilized communication. Therefore, positive openness to others, communication with them, getting to know them, and cooperation with them according to paths that serve humanity are desirable. Relations between countries are considered one of the most important sections of civilized communication, as the links between countries overlap so that no one country can live in isolation from the rest. This research has been studied through four axes: First: defining the concept of international relations. Second: The emergence of international relations between countries. Third: Statement of the importance of international relations. Forth: The principles of international relations in Islam.

Among the most important findings that I reached is that the development of human society requires development in organizing relations between countries. To serve world peace and avoid devastating wars and conflicts. Secondly, international relations in Islam are due to a jurisprudence of civilized communication stemming from principles, values, and tolerance. Third, the principles of international relations in Islam are numerous and include fulfillment of promises and covenants, respect for cultural and civilizational specificities, and achievement of justice.
