The Impact of Climate Change on the Life of the Desert Population
Dr. Achour Fadila
ABSTRACT:
Earth’s climate has changed throughout history, but there is scientific consensus that nowadays climate change is the most dangerous because it carries a huge risks to the planet and human life such as global warming, caused by the high rate of greenhouse gases in the air, climate change effects disrupt the usual balance of nature, such as hotter temperatures, more severe storms, increased drought, a warming, rising ocean, the lost of biodiversity, the loss of food security due to the droughty, more health risks, poverty, and immigration. On the other hand, the plan of sustainable development is based on the main conditions of development like water, human security, and human equality in the fields of health, education, and clean water, as well, the loss of water makes a great obstacle in the application of the sustainable development, especially the plan number 30. and according to the fragile ecological system in the desert zones based on: the lack of water, the high temperatures, and the lack of biodiversity, climate change is a great danger on the life of the population in the desert zones. overall, we can ask some questions about shaping the life of the desert’s population, under climate change and the failure of agenda number 30 of sustainable development in this zone. therefore, this scientific paper aims to respond to all these questions and further more to analyze the future of desert populations under climate change impact.
