This study examines the critical importance of cybersecurity in the Fintech sector, offering strategic solutions for safeguarding Fintech platforms, enhancing customer trust, and ensuring regulatory compliance. A key insight highlights the integration of blockchain and artificial intelligence as fundamental pillars of robust cybersecurity frameworks. Fintech is transforming the global financial landscape by redefining business and personal interactions in the digital age. Technological innovations such as robo-advisors, mobile payments, and blockchain have introduced unprecedented levels of accessibility and convenience. However, these advancements also expose both consumers and businesses to significant cybersecurity threats, including ransomware attacks, insider breaches, and large-scale data leaks. This paper analyzes major risks, emerging technologies, and effective platform security strategies, underlining the indispensable role of cybersecurity in Fintech's sustainable development. It further explores Albania’s efforts to address regional cybersecurity challenges and align with global cybersecurity standards. By carefully balancing technological innovation with rigorous security protocols, Fintech companies can foster continued growth, strengthen consumer confidence, and meet evolving regulatory demands.
