Implementation Plan – Application of Highly Effective Teaching Model in Primary School
The presented project deals with the Highly Effective Teaching model, as well as the teaching approach that strives for the synthesis of the curriculum and the creation of links between teaching subjects. The intended project primarily focuses on the search for evidence related to the teaching method Highly Effective Teaching (formerly known as Integrated Thematic Teaching) and on their subsequent application in pedagogical practice, with the aim of identifying barriers preventing the implementation of evidence and proposing strategies for overcoming them. On the periphery, the project is devoted to the integration of the educational content of the educational area Man and health and areas that are thematically devoted to health issues, with the use of the Highly Effective Teaching model. The project targets primary school pupils. A mixed research design was chosen as the research approach for this project. The project is divided into three phases – preliminary research, analysis and synthesis of knowledge in the researched area, implementation.
