A New Era in Furniture Production: 3D Printer

ABSTRACT:
In this article, the development of 3d printers in furniture sector will be discussed. In addition, the subject will be discussed through important designs that guide the sector. Through 3d printers, in recent years, not only furniture industry but also many industries have been changing. In fact, 3d printers have been used in prototyping of designs for a long time. In order to reach the final product, prototypes should be made, models should be tested, and revisions should be made accordingly. Designers can test the final product by prototypes. This supports the system in terms of time and financial investment. There is almost nothing that cannot be produced with 3d printers. Nowadays, not only the prototype stage, but also the furniture itself is printed with these printers. Thus, designers make it possible to produce furniture that cannot be produced by conventional methods. In addition, consumer-specific, personalized products can be produced.
