The value division between Ukraine and Russia
The manuscript analyzes data from the latest wave of World Values Survey on the subject of value differences between Ukrainian and Russian societies that could be key to understanding the Russian invasion and public reaction to it, as well as potential value changes in the post-war future. The manuscript also provides an additional analysis of other data of internal sociological surveys of both countries, which allow to compare their value orientations in the context of a common past and vision of the future.
