Economic Reforms and Its Effects on Industrial Development in Allusion to Steel Authority of India

ABSTRACT: 

Aim of this research article is to provide an in-depth analysis of how public-sector enterprises reforms have influenced industrial growth and performance of organizations like SAIL. It has provided critical analysis of different types of public-sector reforms along with their implications on organizations and public sector. Different types of reforms such as privatization, disinvestment and so on have been explained in this article. It has further provided statistical analysis of how these reforms have enhanced industrial profitability and factors that often hindered growth of industries to determine ways of improvement. Primary survey has been conducted to collect proper information regarding this impact. A few suggestions have been provided to determine how future reforms should look like and how they could positively influence growth of industries.
