This literature review aims at providing a comprehensive and consolidated representation of current key concepts and challenges in the Digital Marketing habitat, putting emphasis on Social Media and Mobile Marketing. We have also developed a structured approach on how businesses can stay up to date and exploit the advantages, while minimizing the effects of disadvantages, of an almost inescapable decision to adopt a Digital Marketing Strategy, for a future in Marketing that seems to embrace augmented and virtual reality as it’s natural progression.
