ABSTRACT:

This paper seeks to investigate the nascent entrepreneurial intentions in the equine sector from Romania, considering the answers retrieved from 111 horse enthusiasts. This study represents a quantitative follow-up of a configurational study, which involved a causal combination of antecedent conditions, leading to entrepreneurial intentions in this sector. Our aim is to investigate correlations between variables related to three clusters (equine agrotourism, therapeutic horse riding and equine sports) and entrepreneurial intentions through statistical methods, mainly based on regression analyses. Findings proved the high interest of Romanian horse enthusiasts to embrace an entrepreneurial career, considering the available funding opportunities.
